bro, newbie nih...gwe mo nanya gmn cara setting wireless acces point untuk speedy biar bs jd hotspot.
speknya:
1. koneksi speedy
2.infrastuktur LAN 4 komputer atau lebih
3. acces poin merek prolink WGR 1004

tolong ya jawabannya...

pake prolink juga, lebih simple dari pada mikrotik.

Caranya gampang... colokin semua perangkat itu tadi ke swicth, trus nyalain deh... selesai deh!
NB: Syaratnya, modem speedy sudah disetting oleh telkom dan sudah nyala...

topologinya gini
MODEM ADSL SPEEDY >> SWITCH >>>>AP>>KLIENT
jangan lupa seting IPnya disesuaikan jangan bentrok...

cth IP modem 192.168.1.1 (seringkali si modem pake 2 IP 192.168.1.1 dan 192.168.1.2 buat IP usb)

IP AP 192.168.1.3

IP Client : 192.168.1.4-192.168.2xx

bisa buat DHCP atau static IP.....seting aja di modemnya dulu DHCP or static IPnya
kemudian baru deh set ke AP DHCP or static IPnya...jangan lupa klo me set Static harus di isi manual IP di klient....n gatewaynya diisi IP modem 192.168.1.1

securitynya di atur Bro PAKE WEP, WPA or MAC filter biar gak sembarang orang masuk...
n klo boleh di tambah mikrotik bro supaya pengaturan bandwith OK
