hAP ax2 QCA8075

Sun Apr 14, 2024 5:07 pm

The hAP ax2 has a Gigabit QCA8075 switch chip. This chip isn't listed here:

https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... p+Features

Does this mean it's "Other" and what does "no" mean for each entry? For example, VLAN table under "Other" is "no". Does this mean there is no VLAN limit or that VLAN isn't supported?

VLANs are fully supported… but in software, without hardware acceleration. But not really a loss, since the bridge is not hardware accelerated to begin with ;-)

Hap ax2 is listed with "IPQ-PPE" switch chip.

It is if you disable STP and vlan-filtering. However, HW acceleration on this switch chip is still buggy and will cause lots of issues.
