BandWidth Test

Fri Jan 26, 2024 1:38 pm

Hello everyone,
I have on a PPPoE link with a local FTTH operator with a lot of packet loss in UDP.
[admin@router] > /tool/traceroute 181.214.XX.XX
Columns: ADDRESS, LOSS, SENT, LAST, AVG, BEST, WORST, STD-DEV
# ADDRESS LOSS SENT LAST AVG BEST WORST STD-DEV
1 185.244.XX.XX 0% 4 22.6ms 25.7 22.6 27.8 2.2
2 185.244.XX.XX 0% 4 26.9ms 27.2 26.4 28.4 0.7
3 77.95.XX.XX 0% 4 27ms 27.4 25.5 31.1 2.2
4 181.214.XX.XX 0% 4 25.8ms 26.2 25.8 27.2 0.6
I ran a BandWidth Speed test in TCP for about 30 minutes, which gave me this result:

Here's the UDP both result 20 min :

Question:
- What do you think of this type of test?
- Is it suitable for measuring packet loss?
- Do you have any other ideas to help me diagnose this problem?

Much love to all my bro

Where are these losses?
If you clog the connection with a traffic jam, you will always have losses.
