With the new filtering rules it's become possible to match destinations against address lists - which is very, very useful indeed, and reduces duplicated lists of things that needs to be kept in sync.
There is, however, another potential use-case to addresses to the address lists based on advertisements from BGP, one such use-case would be to load all "network originated" prefixes into an address list, which can then be used to for example:
1. Discard advertisements for same from external (eBGP) sources; or
2. In the firewall, drop incoming traffic from your own network.
