VPN just LAN to one IP, not whole internet

Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:49 am

Hi,

Noob here.

Situation as follows, I need to VPN from my local IP (90.1.1.1.1) to a specific IP address (lets say 85.1.1.1), which I have successfully set up following various tutorials on internet.

But the problem is as follows - I get my whole 90.1.1.1.1 connection rerouted through that IP (whenever I check my external IP its 85.1.1.1) -it is slow and unnnecessary.

I would like to set the VPN up so that my network stays 90.1.1.1.1, but at the same time local network that is behind of 85.1.1.1 is reachable.

I need it for two usecases - SSTP and for L2TP

Please tell me how to do it via winbox or febfig, not comfortable in terminal.

Or better yet - give me a link to tutorial online and I will do it myself.

L2TP:
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:I ... -Site_L2TP (V6.x)
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/L2TP (V7.x)

SSTP:
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:I ... -Site_SSTP (V6.x)
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/SSTP (V7.x)

V6.x also describes site 2 site, you can use these examples for V7.x as well.
Don't worry about command prompts, the menu structure in both Winbox and WebFig are the same.
Or better yet - give me a link to tutorial online and I will do it myself.
