    Panduan praktis cara perhitungan limit-at dan max-limit

    Di asumsikan bandwidth yang tersedia sebesar 1000kbps. Dan jumlah seluruh client adalah 70. Yang perlu diketahui adalah :

    1. Berapa jumlah maksimal client yang menggunakan internet pada saat yang bersamaan. Jumlah ini belum tentu sama dengan jumlah komputer yang ada, apabila semua client tidak pernah terkoneksi secara bersamaan. Sebagai contoh, untuk kasus ini kita asumsikan adalah 50.
    2. Berapa jumlah minimal client yang menggunakan internet pada saat yang bersamaan. Sebagai contoh, untuk kasus ini kita asumsikan adalah 10

    Maka, untuk setiap client (1 client dibuatkan 1 rule queue), limit-at nya adalah 1000 / 50 = 20kbps, dan max-limit nya adalah 1000 / 10 = 100 kbps.

    Jangan lupa untuk menambahkan parent dengan max-limit sebesar 1000kbps (tidak perlu limit-at), dan memasukkan semua queue client di bawah parent queue. Jika untuk terminal tertentu membutuhkan priority lebih besar, maka kita bisa menggunakan priority yang berbeda-beda, tergantung dengan urutan prioritasnya.

    IIX dicampur INT bisa tapi deretan queue tree-nya jadi banyak banget, konsep-nya hampir sama ajah tapi buat dst-address IIX dibuat terlebih dahulu terus juga diset pada mangle packet-nya passtrough=no, agar packet2 yang sudah dimarking sebagai IIX jangan lagi turun ke INT, sehingga bisa dibagi baik IIX maupun INT

    kl di parent LAN sy buat 2 supaya nantinya bandwith proxy bisa loss ke client, kl masalah HTB keknya hanya tersedia di linux-nya, sedangkan di mikrotik lebih mantep ya pake PCQ dengan Queue Tree buat down maupun up meskipun ribet sih ngaturnya mangle jadi banyak bgt Click here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

    oh itu ya bos, di MK kan dgn memasukkan parameter limit-at & max-limit di child queue yg merujuk ke satu main-parent indikasinya pengimplikasian HTB, jd kalo di tambah PCQ lagi artinya kan pakai 2 qdisc..

    rapinya gini deh, biar MK gak bingung nentu'in algorithm nya..

    limit-at & max-limit di child queue nya aja ilangin, gantinya kan udah ada pcq-rate, tp jgn di set-up segitu, cukup pcq-rate=160k

    jadi kalo cuma 2 user ya cuma dpt 160k each (160k, 160k)
    4 user (160k jg each..) nah kalo semua 13 user (equal 157k each) -> gak melebihi pcq-rate & total gak melebihi max-limit

    iyakkk bener sekali gan 100 point buat akang, betul penggunaan 2 jenis qdisc, Click here to enlarge

    nih gw kasih hasil resultnya kl dah jadi, client mau pake IDM torrent dll, tetep akan kena limit (kl ini sy limit 384kbps) dengan parent max-limit 1,5Mbps, untuk proxy HIT sy lepasin ke klien ajah biar wuzzz2, juga karena penggunaan gigabit port limiter dipaling atas sy kasih 1gigs, jadi bisa kelihatan total penggunaan di PC-Client, juga sy pisahkan marking antara client local dengan IIX, jadi antar client lokal sy sendiri ampe ke server2 sy bisa sekuat2nya perangkat, ini di production machines loh asalkan traffic shapping-nya bener bandwith bisa merata, tapi kl dilihat dipunya saya koq ngga merata? karena bandwith yang terbagi ini disesuaikan juga dengan kebutuhan client sehingga lebih responsif, disaat salah satu client cuman maen game online dan kebutuhan bandwith cuman 32kbps maka ya cuman dapet 32kbps sedangkan yg lain bisa menggunakan sisanya Click here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

    OOT : wah banyak bener jg ya pc warnet yg di limit ya bro @oktama..

    tp cmn saran aja.. kenapa ga di buat q.tree untuk paket traffic tertentu (misalnya situs forummikrotik) jadi bukan per pc.


    jadi klu misalnya waktu 1 endpoint yg aktif , speed bisa mencapai 2 Mbps. tp untuk download di buat lagi paket conn-byte nya :-? cmiiw
