At the moment I'm using Webproxy to block access to specific websites and file types download, but the Webproxy is using a lot of RAM, aprox. 11MB and because of this the router sometimes reboots itself because of the low memory. I'm thinking of shutting down the Webproxy and use L7 RegExp filtering, will L7 be more gentle with the RAM and not so harsh on the CPU ? Is it wise to make this move ?
I only need to block a few websites like youtube and extentions like .exe, .mp3
